Just learned about the Latino Briefing Room. Here’s some background:

Whether it is Politics, Commerce, Government, Religion, or Headlines in general that interests you, the Latino Briefing Room makes it easy for you to stay on top of those issues most important to you.
“It is our job to not only highlight the mainstream headlines, but also provide insight on those headlines through the lens of the Latino perspective. At the same time, we intend to utilize the keen sensibility and social consciousness Latinos have developed over time as an avenue towards bringing awareness to those issues which may have been minimized by other media.”
My HuffPost reference is to HP’s wide range of news and commentary, not to it’s left-wing firebrand identity and one-sided politics. At first glance it seems like the Latino Briefing Room may actually be balanced, politically and socially speaking. Time will tell.
