If you are interested in Business as Mission and Coffee, you won’t want to miss this event and workshop (register for Marketplace Revolution here):
Coffee As Mission – An Exploration at the crossroads of coffee, business, and mission
Facilitator – Dave Price
There is no coincidence that there is a convergence between the coffee growing region of the world, the most impoverished countries of the world and the least reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We see this as a momentous opportunity.
The International Coffee Cooperative is a network in its infancy that aims to infuse hope into each life connected with coffee. From the farm to the cup; from despair to hope. Our goal is to bring sustainable solutions to each node in the coffee chain that provides holistic responses to the most basic of needs within the coffee community.
A panel of experts in coffee and mission will participate in a facilitated discussion on using coffee as a vehicle for mission. This discussion could serve as a launching pad towards developing a network to support this initiative.

Am researching the feasibility of an overseas coffee shop. Sorry I missed this workshop! Were you involved? If so, do you know if a recording is available? I didn’t see a link on the Marketplace Revolution site to ask. Thanks…
