View Rudy Carrasco's profile on LinkedIn Rudy Carrasco is a board member of the Christian Community Development Association, U.S. Regional Facilitator for Partners Worldwide, and a past board member of World Vision U.S. Carrasco served for 19 years in incarnational urban ministry at Harambee Christian Family Center in Pasadena, California. His work, which focused on indigenous leadership development of African American and Latino young people, was recognized by The White House Office for Faith-based and Community Initiatives as well as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Alumni Hall of Fame. A graduate of Stanford University with a B.A. in English, Carrasco’s articles have appeared in Forbes, Christianity Today, Los Angeles Times, and Discipleship Journal, and he is a past Saturday columnist for the Pasadena Star-News daily newspaper. He lectures for the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty and speaks widely at schools including Thunderbird University and Covenant Theological Seminary as well as churches and conferences nationwide. He lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife, Kafi, and their four children.
